No Doubt quotes by Dan Simmons
#1. There is no doubt that I have discovered the ultimate in stagnant human societies. The Bikura have realized the human dream of immortality and have paid for it with their humanity and their immortal souls. #Quote by Dan Simmons
No Doubt quotes by Daniel N. Robinson
#2. It is only in the philosophy of the seminar room that serious doubts are raised as to weather or not dogs and cats and other animals have consciousness. We all know how aware they are of their surroundings... and of us... they leave no doubt when they are in pain... #Quote by Daniel N. Robinson
No Doubt quotes by Condoleezza Rice
#3. I have no doubt that as the Iraqi security forces get better, and they are getting better and they are holding territory and they are doing these things with minimal help, that we are going to be able to bring down the levels of our forces. And I have no doubt that that's going to happen in a reasonable time frame. #Quote by Condoleezza Rice
No Doubt quotes by Natalie Imbruglia
#4. I would have been happy to have waited till I was in my mid- to late-30s before I got married, but you don't choose when these things happen, and when they do, there's no doubt in your mind. #Quote by Natalie Imbruglia
No Doubt quotes by George S. Patton
#5. I am sure that if every leader who goes into battle will promise himself that he will come out either a conqueror or a corpse, he is sure to win. There is no doubt of that. Defeat is not due to losses but to the destruction of the Soul of the leaders-the 'live to fight another day' doctrine. #Quote by George S. Patton
No Doubt quotes by Seneca The Younger
#6. Philosophy takes as her aim the state of happiness ... she shows us what are real and what are only apparent evils. She strips men's minds of empty thinking, bestows a greatness that is solid and administers a check to greatness where it is puffed up and all an empty show; she sees that we are left no doubt about the difference between what is great and what is bloated. #Quote by Seneca The Younger
No Doubt quotes by T. Baggins
#7. But I - forgive me. I have to know." Nicholas swallowed hard. It was humiliating. But he was a scientist, trained to observe and question everything. "Will you bugger me?"
Ban's laugh sounded genuine. "The Devil take you for French baggage! Do you realize Martha asked me the very same question, or near as makes no difference? See what your influence has wrought. Tell me, Nicky, have you ever enjoyed even a thimbleful of diversion before opening your accursed mouth?"
"But I have to know," Nicholas repeated earnestly. "How shall I prepare myself? What if I scream? What if I shit?"
"What if I dash your brains out? In a no doubt useless bid for peace," Ban countered, dark eyes snapping with amusement. "God's teeth. To the stairs. At once! #Quote by T. Baggins
No Doubt quotes by Linda Howard
#8. Milla was always aware, on the dimmest edge of her consciousness that Diaz constantly watched her.
She also knew that he was a man who never gave up, who never lost sight of his goal. Exactly what his goal was wasn't always clear to her, but she had no doubt he was perfectly clear in his own mind what he wanted.
He wanted her. She knew it, and yet she couldn't imagine how they could ever be together again. The rift between them, to her, was final and absolute. He'd betrayed her in the most wounding way possible, and forgiveness evidently wasn't her strong suit. She had found that grudges weren't heavy at all; she could carry them for a very long time.
Diaz wasn't taking care of her out of the goodness of his heart. He was taking care of her the way a wolf cared for its wounded mate. #Quote by Linda Howard
No Doubt quotes by E.L. James
#9. Of course. Silly me. Such a sad, exciting score, which no doubt you can play? So many accomplishments, Mr. Grey."
"And the greatest one is you, Miss Steele. #Quote by E.L. James
No Doubt quotes by Jess Walter
#10. That's why people write books and stories, no doubt, to leave some impression behind, to share a sense of the beauty and pain. This #Quote by Jess Walter
No Doubt quotes by Barack Obama
#11. There's no doubt that there's some folks who just really dislike me because they don't like the idea of a black president. #Quote by Barack Obama
No Doubt quotes by John Calvin
#12. But we ever find, that even those who have not been deficient in their zeal for piety, nor in reverence and sobriety in handling the mysteries of God, have by no means agreed among themselves on every point; for God hath never favored his servants with so great a benefit, that they were all endued with a full and perfect knowledge in every thing; and, no doubt, for this end - that he might first keep them humble; and secondly, render them disposed to cultivate brotherly intercourse. #Quote by John Calvin
No Doubt quotes by Gail Carriger
#13. The more Lord Maccon considered it, the more he grew to like the idea. Certainly his imagination was full of pictures of what he and Alexia might do together once he got her home in a properly wedded state, but now those lusty images were mixing with others: waking up next to her, seeing her across the dining table, discussing science and politics, having her advice on points of pack controversy and BUR difficulties. No doubt she would be useful in verbal frays and social machinations, as long as she was on his side. #Quote by Gail Carriger
No Doubt quotes by Martin Amis
#14. I think one shouldn't pussyfoot, and just say that you write the stuff that you would like to read. So you write for yourself, no doubt about that. But I do have a sort of romantic idea of someone in their twenties, of a certain bent, and when they pick up a book by me, they think
as I have done on several occasions
'Ah, here is one for me. Here is a writer who I'll have to read all of, because they're speaking directly to me, and they're writing what I want to read.' And sometimes you're doing the signing queue and a reader comes past and you sign the book, and there's a little exchange of the eyes, where you think, 'Ah, that's one of them.' So there is that ideal reader. And it's someone who's discovering literature and homes in on you. I'm aware of such readers. #Quote by Martin Amis
No Doubt quotes by N. T. Wright
#15. Of course there are people who think of 'heaven' as a kind of pie-in-the-sky dream of an afterlife to make the thought of dying less awful. No doubt that's a problem as old as the human race. #Quote by N. T. Wright
No Doubt quotes by Tom Daschle
#16. Let there be no doubt: the state of our union is strong - stronger than the terrorists who seek to harm us and stronger than the challenges that confront us. At the same time, we know that our union can be stronger still. #Quote by Tom Daschle
No Doubt quotes by Miguel Nicolelis
#17. Eventually, brain implants will become as common as heart implants. I have no doubt about that. #Quote by Miguel Nicolelis
No Doubt quotes by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
#18. Our dear Imam said that the occupying regime [Israel] must be wiped off the map ... We cannot compromise over the issue of Palestine ... I have no doubt that the new wave that has started in Palestine, and we witness it in the Islamic world too, will eliminate this disgraceful stain from the Islamic world. #Quote by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
No Doubt quotes by Mike Jay
#19. Haslam leaves us in no doubt what we are supposed to make of Matthews' mental world: this is gibberish and nothing more. #Quote by Mike Jay
No Doubt quotes by Adam Smith
#20. The great source of both the misery and disorders of human life, seems to arise from over-rating the difference between one permanent situation and another. Avarice over-rates the difference between poverty and riches: ambition, that between a private and a public station: vain-glory, that between obscurity and extensive reputation. The person under the influence of any of those extravagant passions, is not only miserable in his actual situation, but is often disposed to disturb the peace of society, in order to arrive at that which he so foolishly admires. The slightest observation, however, might satisfy him, that, in all the ordinary situations of human life, a well-disposed mind may be equally calm, equally cheerful, and equally contented. Some of those situations may, no doubt, deserve to be preferred to others: but none of them can deserve to be pursued with that passionate ardour which drives us to violate the rules either of prudence or of justice; or to corrupt the future tranquillity of our minds, either by shame from the remembrance of our own folly, or by remorse from the horror of our own injustice. #Quote by Adam Smith
No Doubt quotes by Franz Kafka
#21. Did he really want this warm room of his, so comfortably fitted with old family furniture, to be transformed into a cave, in which, no doubt, he would be free to crawl about unimpeded in all directions, but only at the price of rapidly and completely forgetting his human past at the same time? #Quote by Franz Kafka
No Doubt quotes by Yann Martel
#22. If you took the city of Tokyo and turned it upside down and shook it you would be amazed at the animals that fall out: badgers, wolves, boa constrictors, crocodiles, ostriches, baboons, capybaras, wild boars, leopards, manatees, ruminants, in untold numbers. There is no doubt in my mind that that feral giraffes and feral hippos have been living in Tokyo for generations without seeing a soul. #Quote by Yann Martel
No Doubt quotes by Joseph Campbell
#23. The LSD phenomenon, on the other hand, is - to me at least - more interesting. It is an intentionally achieved schizophrenia, with the expectation of a spontaneous remission - which, however, does not always follow. Yoga, too, is intentional schizophrenia: one breaks away from the world, plunging inward, and the ranges of vision experienced are in fact the same as those of a psychosis. But what, then, is the difference? What is the difference between a psychotic or LSD experience and a yogic, or a mystical? The plunges are all into the same deep inward sea; of that there can be no doubt. The symbolic figures encountered are in many instances identical (and I shall have something more to say about those in a moment). But there is an important difference. The difference - to put it sharply - is equivalent simply to that between a diver who can swim and one who cannot. The mystic, endowed with native talents for this sort of thing and following, stage by stage, the instruction of a master, enters the waters and finds he can swim; whereas the schizophrenic, unprepared, unguided, and ungifted, has fallen or has intentionally plunged, and is drowning. #Quote by Joseph Campbell
No Doubt quotes by Nicky Singer
#24. You can change things by looking," Papa said.

He showed me this with a coin.

"Look at it this way," Papa said, showing me the round, flat side of the coin, the one with the king's head on. "Easy to see immediately what this thing is. It's a coin! No doubt about it. But look at it this way," and he moved the coin end-on, so it seemed a thin strip of grooved silver. "Not so easy now, is it? Remember, Mhairi, things don't always come with labels on. #Quote by Nicky Singer
No Doubt quotes by Charlotte Bronte
#25. All has changed about me, sir; I must change too - there is no doubt of that... #Quote by Charlotte Bronte
No Doubt quotes by Leo Buscaglia
#26. We need others. We need others to love and we need to be loved by them. There is no doubt that without it, we too, like the infant left alone, would cease to grow, cease to develop, choose madness and even death. #Quote by Leo Buscaglia
No Doubt quotes by Warren E. Burger
#27. There can be no doubt that the practice of opening legislative sessions with prayer has become part of the fabric of our society. #Quote by Warren E. Burger
No Doubt quotes by Barry L. Duncan
#28. Great doubt: great awakening. Little doubt: little awakening. No doubt: no awakening. - Zen mantra #Quote by Barry L. Duncan
No Doubt quotes by Miuccia Prada
#29. Maybe nothing is art", maybe everything is or could be art. To that, no doubt she would have responded like she did in the installation: "The term [artist] itself seems old-fashioned. It's a term that does not relate to modern times. And it's too confining. What I love about fashion is its accessibility and its democracy. Everyone wears it, and everyone relates to it. #Quote by Miuccia Prada
No Doubt quotes by Grant Hackett
#30. I can definitely take more off my world record - a lot more. I have no doubt about that. I'm by no means putting pressure on myself, it's just the belief I have in myself ... I'm not going to limit myself by nominating times or anything like that. I never thought I'd do 14:34 and I did. I thought I'd maybe do 14:38 or 14:39 that day, and I went nearly five seconds quicker so I don't want to limit the possibilities #Quote by Grant Hackett
No Doubt quotes by Wilkie Collins
#31. One after another those words travelled over my memory, repeating themselves again and again with a wearisome, mechanical reiteration. I was roused from what felt like a trance of many hours--from what was really, no doubt, the pause of a few moments only--by a voice calling to me. #Quote by Wilkie Collins
No Doubt quotes by Karl Philipp Moritz
#32. The short English miles are delightful for walking. You are always pleased to find, every now and then, in how short a time you have walked a mile, though, no doubt, a mile is everywhere a mile, I walk but a moderate pace, and can accomplish four English miles in an hour. #Quote by Karl Philipp Moritz
No Doubt quotes by Rob Thurman
#33. Nice guy. Salt of the earth. The stick up his ass is just a bonus." "Let us not make light of the rectally challenged." Niko disposed of the mug with disdain, wiping his hand thoroughly on a towel afterward. "The condition is no doubt congenital. Completely beyond his control. #Quote by Rob Thurman
No Doubt quotes by Harper Lee
#34. Cousin Joshua was frustrated by the authorities when he fired upon the president of the University, who in his opinion was little more than a sewage disposal expert. This was no doubt true, but an idle excuse for assault with a deadly wapon. After much passing around of money Cousin Joshua was moved across the tracks and placed in state accommodations for the irresponsible, where he remained for the rest of his days. #Quote by Harper Lee
No Doubt quotes by Jacob Nordby
#35. The soul of us is never confused about why it is here.
It only asks us to wake up and see the breadcrumb clues it has been leaving all along.
It asks us to have courage to face the wounds we have been hiding, allow it to heal them and untangle the heavy, snarled patterns.
Because the soul of us has no doubt whatever that it can and, if we allow it to express fully, can live a life of such power and joy through us that our human selves will be astonished. #Quote by Jacob Nordby
No Doubt quotes by Erin Hunter
#36. I suppose." Mousefur sniffed. "No doubt it'll be up to me to teach them manners. Kits nowadays don't know how to show any respect."
Jayfeather's whiskers twitched with amusement.
"Don't you believe it," Purdy whispered. "She was teaching Lilykit and Seedkit how to reach under the wall of the warriors' den and catch stray tails yesterday. #Quote by Erin Hunter
No Doubt quotes by Philip K. Dick
#37. I started reading SF when I was about twelve and I read all I could, so any author who was writing about that time, I read. But there's no doubt who got me off originally and that was A. E.
van Vogt. #Quote by Philip K. Dick
No Doubt quotes by Olga Korbut
#38. This ability to conquer oneself is no doubt the most precious of all things sports bestows. #Quote by Olga Korbut
No Doubt quotes by Rachel Hawkins
#39. I don't know what I was expecting a vampire's room to look like. Maybe lots of black, a bunch of books by Camus ... oh, and a sensitive portrait of the only human the vamp ever loved, who had no doubt died of something beautiful and tragic, thus dooming the vamp to an eternity of moping and sighing dramatically.
What can I say? I read a lot of books. #Quote by Rachel Hawkins
No Doubt quotes by Mette Ivie Harrison
#40. Your name?" George asked him directly. He had probably seen the man a dozen times before yet did not know anything about him. King Davit would have no doubt have known half the man's history already.
"Henry."
George took Henry's hand firmly in his own and looked into his eyes. This had to be done delicately, to make sure this Henry did not think him a fool. He tried to think of how his father would do it.
"Thank you, Henry, for your concern. It is a comfort to know I am so well guarded. I will make sure to praise you when next I speak to the lord general. But for now I think there is no need to worry. #Quote by Mette Ivie Harrison
No Doubt quotes by Richard P. Belcher
#41. Theologically, from the very beginning of his Christian life, he was a Calvinist. This was the doctrinal conviction, no doubt of his home church in Nottingham. Pink does show a change in the basic framework of his theology in the passing of time (from dispensationalism to Reformed theology), but there is no evidence of any change in the matter of his Calvinistic convictions. #Quote by Richard P. Belcher
No Doubt quotes by Jason T. Smith
#42. I am conservative, there's no doubt about it. But you can be conservative and still work with people, and that's what my intentions are. #Quote by Jason T. Smith
No Doubt quotes by Jorge Luis Borges
#43. One of the schools of Tlön goes so far as to negate time; it reasons that the present is indefinite, that the future has no reality other than as a present hope, that the past has no reality other than as a present memory. Another school declares that all time has already transpired and that our life is only the crepuscular and no doubt falsified an mutilated memory or reflection of an irrecoverable process. Another, that the history of the universe - and in it our lives and the most tenuous detail of our lives - is the scripture produced by a subordinate god in order to communicate with a demon. Another, that the universe is comparable to those cryptographs in which not all the symbols are valid and that only what happens every three hundred nights is true. Another, that while we sleep here, we are awake elsewhere and that in this way every man is two men. #Quote by Jorge Luis Borges
No Doubt quotes by J.M. Coetzee
#44. You think you know what is just and what is not. I understand. We all think we know." I had no doubt, myself, then, that at each moment each one of us, man, woman, child, perhaps even the poor old horse turning the mill-wheel, knew what was just: all creatures come into the world bringing with them the memory of justice. "But we live in a world of laws," I said to my poor prisoner, "a world of the second-best. There is nothing we can do about that. We are fallen creatures. All we can do is to uphold the laws, all of us, without allowing the memory of justice to fade. #Quote by J.M. Coetzee
No Doubt quotes by Rick Riordan
#45. Of course, most mortals can't see magic clearly, so I'm not sure what they thought they saw as we passed overhead. No doubt it caused many of them to adjust their medication. #Quote by Rick Riordan
No Doubt quotes by William Gilmore Simms
#46. No doubt solitude is wholesome, but so is abstinence after a surfeit. The true life of man is in society. #Quote by William Gilmore Simms
No Doubt quotes by Lisa Kleypas
#47. How strange," she said, "not to recognize one's own face."
"You have no cause for complaint," Grant said huskily. Even bruised and pale and ravaged, her face was incomparable.
"Do you think so?" She stared into the looking glass without a trace of self-satisfactionshe had displayed at the ball. *That* Vivien had had no doubt of her many attractions. This woman was far less confident.
"Everyone thinks so. You're known as one of the great beauties of London."
"I don't see why." Catching his skeptical expression, she added, "Truly, I'm not fishing for compliments, it's just... seems a very ordinary face." She produced a comical, clownish expression, like a child experimenting with her reflection. A shaken laugh escaped her. "It doesn't seem to belong to me. #Quote by Lisa Kleypas
No Doubt quotes by H.G. Wells
#48. These politicians impressed him as being the most shortsighted and sceptical men he had ever met. They lived in a little world that was bounded on the one side by "office" and on the other by the constituencies, and they seemed unable to imagine that it was not an eternal world. One tall man, he observed, in the year of grace 1941 was wearing a long frock-coat and a peculiar half-stiff collar reminiscent of that great parliamentary hand, Mr. Gladstone. They talked with one another about divisions; the government majority had dropped to twenty; and they talked about a scene in the House. The P.M.'s manners were becoming intolerable. Then with an air of relaxation they turned to Rud. The possibility of altering opinions in the constituencies seemed a very theoretical one to them. No doubt there were these waves of opinion in the country, and an intelligent parliamentary politician observed them and dodged about among them, but it was quite outside their technique to consider how the pressures of opinion could accumulate and be directed. #Quote by H.G. Wells
No Doubt quotes by John Frederick Boyes
#49. Where there is much general deformity nature has often, perhaps generally, accorded some one bodily grace even in over-measure. So, no doubt, with the intellect and disposition, only it is frequently less apparent, and we give ourselves but little trouble to discover it. #Quote by John Frederick Boyes
No Doubt quotes by A. N. Wilson
#50. There is no doubt that, since 1977 and the launch of Apple II - the first computer it produced for the mass market - many things which used to be done on paper, or on the telephone, have been done easier and faster on a screen. #Quote by A. N. Wilson
No Doubt quotes by Zbigniew Brzezinski
#51. The society will be dominated by an elite of persons free from traditional values who will have no doubt in fulfilling their objectives by means of purged techniques with which they will influence the behavior of people and will control and watch the society in all details. It will become possible to exert a practically permanent watch on each citizen of the world. #Quote by Zbigniew Brzezinski
No Doubt quotes by Philip Pullman
#52. And among academicians, and among spirits. I found folly everywhere, but there were grains of wisdom in every stream of it. No doubt there was much more wisdom that I failed to recognize. Life is hard, Mr. Scoresby, but we cling to it all the same. #Quote by Philip Pullman
No Doubt quotes by Tim O'Brien
#53. It's not just the embarrassment of tears. That's part of it, no doubt, but what embarrasses me much more, and always will, is the paralysis that took my heart. A moral freeze: I couldn't decide, I couldn't act, I couldn't comport myself with even a pretense of modest human dignity. #Quote by Tim O'Brien
No Doubt quotes by Socrates
#54. ...I do not believe that the law of God permits a better man to be harmed by a worse. No doubt my accuser might put me to death or have me banished or deprived of civic rights; but even if he thinks, as he probably does (and others to, I dare say), that these are great calamities, I do not think so... For let me tell you, gentlemen, that to be afraid of death is only another form of thinking that one is wise when one is not; it is to think that one knows what one does not know. No one knows with regard to death whether it is not really the greatest blessing that can happen to a man; but people dread it as though they were certain that it is the greatest evil; and this ignorance, which thinks that it knows what it does not, must surely be ignorance most culpable. This, I take it, gentlemen, is the degree, and this is the nature of my advantage over the rest of mankind; and if I were to claim to be wiser than my neighbour in any respect, it would be in this: that not possessing any real knowledge of what comes after death, I am also conscious that I do not possess it. But I do know that to do wrong and to disobey my superior, whether God or man, is wicked and dishonourable; and so I shall never feel more fear or aversion for something which, for all I know, may really be a blessing, than for those evils which I know to be evils. #Quote by Socrates
No Doubt quotes by Evgeny Morozov
#55. There is no doubt that the Internet brims with spamming, scamming and identity fraud. Having someone wipe out your hard drive or bank account has never been easier, and the tools for committing electronic mischief on your enemies are cheap and widely accessible. #Quote by Evgeny Morozov
No Doubt quotes by Georgette Heyer
#56. This embittered thought brought to her mind the several occasions upon which she might, had she been the kind of female his lordship no doubt admired, have kindled his ardour by a display of sensibility, or even of heroism ... To have thrown herself between the foils, when she had surprised the Earl fencing with Martin, would certainly have been spectacular, but that it would have evoked anything but exasperation in the male breast she was quite unable to believe. She thought she need not blame herself for having refrained upon this occasion; but when she recalled her behaviour in the avenue, when the Earl had been thrown from his horse, she knew that nothing could excuse her. Here had been an opportunity for spasms, swoonings, and a display of sensibility, utterly neglected! How could his lordship have been expected to guess that her heart had been beating so hard and so fast that had felt quite sick, when all she had done was to talk to him in a voice drained of all expression? Not even when his lifeless body had been carried into the Castle had she conducted herself like a heroine of romance! Had she fainted at the sight of his blood-soaked raiment? Had she screamed? No! All she had done had been to direct Ulverston to do one thing, Turvey another, Chard to ride for the doctor, while she herself had done what lay within her power to staunch the bleeding. #Quote by Georgette Heyer
No Doubt quotes by Narendra Modi
#57. It is my absolute belief that Indians have unlimited talent. I have no doubt about our capabilities. #Quote by Narendra Modi
No Doubt quotes by Thomas Ligotti
#58. Perhaps our judgement of the purple woman was unfair. No doubt her theories concerning the "approach of the Teatro" made us all uneasy. But was this reason enough to cast her out from that artistic underworld which was the only society available to her? Like many societies, of course, ours was founded on fearful superstition, and this is always reason enough for any kind of behavior. She had been permanently stigmatized by too closely associating herself with something unclean in its essence. #Quote by Thomas Ligotti
No Doubt quotes by Ofeibea Quist-Arcton
#59. There's no doubt that Boko Haram has been driven from many of its strongholds in northeastern Nigeria. Now, President Muhammadu Buhari says technically, we have won the war. Those in the know say but technically, the army is still losing the battle because Boko Haram has changed tactics. Instead of now holding territory as it used to and calling this territory its own, now it is resorting to guerrilla tactics, hit-and-run raids and especially suicide bombings. #Quote by Ofeibea Quist-Arcton
No Doubt quotes by Sunil Gavaskar
#60. India's fortune will depend on how many runs the little champion scores. There is no doubt Tendulkar is the real thing. #Quote by Sunil Gavaskar
No Doubt quotes by Milan Kundera
#61. The sound of laughter is like the vaulted dome of a temple of happiness, "that delectable trance of happiness, that ultimate peak of delight. Laughter of delight, delight of laughter." There is no doubt: this laughter goes "far beyond joking, jeering, and ridicule." The two sisters stretched out on their bed are not laughing at anything concrete, their laughter has no object; it is an expression of being rejoicing at being ... and in this ecstatic laughter he loses all memory, all desire, cries out to the immediate present of the world, and needs no other knowledge. #Quote by Milan Kundera
No Doubt quotes by John Ray
#62. There is no doubt, that man is not built to be a carnivorous animal. What a sweet, pleasing and innocent sight is the spectacle of a table served that way and what a difference to a make up of fuming animal meat, slaughtered and dead! Man in no way has the constitution of a carnivorous being. Hunt and voracity are unnatural to him. Man has neither the sharp pointed teeth or claws to slaughter his prey. On the contrary his hands are made to pick fruits, berries and vegetables and teeth appropriate to chew them. #Quote by John Ray
No Doubt quotes by Walt Whitman
#63. I know I am deathless. No doubt I have died myself ten thousand times before. I laugh at what you call dissolution, and I know the amplitude of time. #Quote by Walt Whitman
No Doubt quotes by Jodie Foster
#64. There is no doubt that each of us is born an individual. Why is it then that so many of us die carbon copies? #Quote by Jodie Foster
No Doubt quotes by Richard Selzer
#65. Cutting for Stone is nothing short of masterful -a riveting tale of love, medicine, and the complex dynamic of twin brothers. It is beautifully conceived and written. The settings are wonderfully pictorial. There is no doubt in my mind that Cutting for Stone will endure in the permanent literature of our time. #Quote by Richard Selzer
No Doubt quotes by Arthur Smith
#66. The Bible has no doubt had much influence in its time, but it provides very few laughs. None, in fact. #Quote by Arthur Smith
No Doubt quotes by R.L. Mathewson
#67. Not when the love of his life was waiting for him and there was absolutely no doubt in his mind now that he loved her. He loved absolutely everything about this woman from that cocky little grin that she was shooting him to that sad little victory dance that she was doing.

He fucking adored her. #Quote by R.L. Mathewson
No Doubt quotes by Terry Pratchett
#68. This is so inconvenient. But there is no doubt." She paused for a moment and said: "I will die the day after tomorrow. On Friday, just before half past six in the morning." It was an impressive statement, and did not deserve this reply: "Oh, that's a shame, tae be missin' the weekend like that," said Rob Anybody. #Quote by Terry Pratchett
No Doubt quotes by John Yu
#69. These are challenging and exciting times. No previous generation of Australians has ever had such an opportunity. No other country in the world has such an opportunity now. So long as we retain faith in ourselves, practise tolerance and reward initiative, we should be in no doubt about succeeding. #Quote by John Yu
No Doubt quotes by Pierre Reverdy
#70. The happiness of man is devoid of chlorophyll no doubt because its specific condition is to evolve in the darkest and dankest caves of the heart. #Quote by Pierre Reverdy
No Doubt quotes by H. Rider Haggard
#71. The Garden of Eden, no doubt, looked fair before man was, but I always think that it must have been fairer when Eve adorned it. #Quote by H. Rider Haggard
No Doubt quotes by Kinky Friedman
#72. In April 1933, Willie's mother, Myrle, gave birth to him in a manger somewhere along the old highway between Waco & Dallas. There were angels in attendance that night. Some of them, no doubt, flying too close to the ground: #Quote by Kinky Friedman
No Doubt quotes by Marcel Proust
#73. Maybe it was because of his ignorance of music that he had been capable of receiving so confused an impression, the kind of impression that is, however, perhaps the only one which is purely musical, immaterial, entirely original, irreducible to any other order of impression. An impression of this kind is, for an instant, so to speak, sine materia. No doubt the notes we hear then tend already, depending on their loudness and their quantity, to spread out before our eyes over surfaces of varying dimensions, to trace arabesques, to give us sensations of breadth, tenuousness, stability, whimsy. But the notes vanish before these sensations are sufficiently formed in us not to be submerged by those already excited by the succeeding or even simultaneous notes. And this impression would continue to envelop with its liquidity and its "mellowness" the motifs that at times emerge from it, barely discernible, immediately to dive under and disappear, known only by the particular pleasure they give, impossible to describe, to recall, to name, ineffable - if memory, like a laborer working to put down lasting foundations in the midst of the waves, by fabricating for us facsimiles of these fleeting phrases, did not allow us to compare them to those that follow them and to differentiate them. And so, scarcely had the delicious sensation which Swann had felt died away than his memory at once furnished him with a transcription that was summary and temporary but at which he could glance while the #Quote by Marcel Proust
No Doubt quotes by Jen Turano
#74. Everett realized what he was going to have to do.
He was, much against his better judgment, going to have to seek out Miss Longfellow and beg her
on bended knee and with flowers, no doubt

No Doubt quotes by C.S. Lewis
#76. It is part of the nature of a strong erotic passion - as distinct from a transient fit of appetite - that makes more towering promises than any other emotion. No doubt all our desires makes promises, but not so impressively. To be in love involves the almost irresistible conviction that one will go on being in love until one dies, and that possession of the beloved will confer, not merely frequent ecstasies, but settled, fruitful, deep-rooted, lifelong happiness. Hence all seems to be at stake. If we miss this chance we shall have lived in vain. At the very thought of such a doom we sink into fathomless depths of self-pity.

Unfortunately these promises are found often to be quite untrue. Every experienced adult knows this to be so as regards all erotic passions (except the one he himself is feeling at the moment). We discount the world-without-end pretensions of our friends' amours easily enough. We know that such things sometimes last - and sometimes don't. And when they do last, this is not because they promised at the outset to do so. When two people achieve lasting happiness, this is not solely because they are great lovers but because they are also - I must put it crudely - good people; controlled, loyal, fair-minded, mutually adaptable people.

If we establish a "right to (sexual) happiness" which supersedes all the ordinary rules of behavior, we do so not because of what our passion shows itself to be in experience but because of what it professes #Quote by C.S. Lewis
No Doubt quotes by Kate Christensen
#77. Of course, eating broccoli raw, nutritionally and aesthetically speaking, is no doubt the best way of all. Raw broccoli makes a delectable salad when sliced into thin strips on a mandolin, marinated in lemon-mustard vinaigrette, then tossed with toasted pecans or hazelnuts, halved cherry tomatoes, and fresh minced basil. #Quote by Kate Christensen
No Doubt quotes by Chess Desalls
#78. No doubt you've experienced something similar in books, movies, novels–whatever you use as an excuse to get away, to suspend reality. Literary characters, like these projections, draw you in and cultivate feelings of friendship on your part. Although, no matter how much you learn about them, how much time you spend with them–how far you can see into their thoughts and words, how they interact with others, their looks, what they wear–they will never, ever know you. #Quote by Chess Desalls

No Doubt quotes by Ethel Smyth
#80. No doubt other writers have often put a thing more brilliantly, more subtly than even a very cunning artist in words can hope to emulate, a supreme phrase being a bit of luck that only happens now and then. And inasmuch as the condiments and secret travail of human nature are always the same, and that certain psychological moments must ever and ever recur, what more tempting than to pin down such a moment with the blow of a borrowed hammer? #Quote by Ethel Smyth
No Doubt quotes by Patrick O'Brian
#81. But I will tell you another misery that is not to be denied. In the common, natural course of events physicians, surgeons and apothecaries are faced with enormous demands for sympathy: they may come into immediate contact with half a dozen deeply distressing cases in a single day. Those who are not saints are in danger of running out of funds and becoming bankrupt; a state which deprives them of a great deal of their humanity. If the man is in private practice he is obliged to utter more or less appropriate words to preserve his connexion, his living;and the mere adoption of a compassionate face as you have no doubt observed goes some little way towards producing at least the ghost of pity. But our patients cannot leave us. They have no alternative. We are not required to put on a conciliating expression, for our inhumanity in no way affects our livelihood. We have a monopoly; and I believe that many of us pay a very ugly price for it in the long run. You must already have met a number of callous idle self-important self-indulgent hardhearted pragmatic brutes wherever the patients have no free choice. #Quote by Patrick O'Brian
No Doubt quotes by Phillip Margulies

"What book?" I say. Then : "Oh, I know what you mean. I am not doing that anymore. I couldn't finish._________
I don't think he knows, not really. Not yet.
In my haste to finish this story before death overtakes me, inevitably I have left out many things, and often I have expresses myself inelegantly, and no doubt here and there I have said more than I meant to. When you return, my dear type writer, we will review what we have done, and add this and subtract that. This work has become my hobby and my consolation, and I enjoy it. #Quote by Phillip Margulies

No Doubt quotes by Michel Houellebecq
#84. They were really willing to pay to avoid any trouble. No doubt they had overestimated the ability of academics to make a nuisance of themselves. It had been years since an academic title gained you access to major media ... Even if all the university professors in France had risen up in protest, almost nobody would have noticed, but apparently they hadn't found that out in Saudi Arabia. They still believed, deep down, in the power of the intellectual elite. It was almost touching. #Quote by Michel Houellebecq
No Doubt quotes by John Burnside
#85. As a lifetime proposition, happiness is a discipline, no doubt; but for moments at a time, it's a piece of luck. A piece of luck and a clue: a hint, not just of what might be, but of what already exists, in the heart of a man's heart ... #Quote by John Burnside
No Doubt quotes by Marcel Proust
#86. Suddenly the memory of his wife came back to him and, no doubt feeling it would be too complicated to try to understand how he could have yielded to an impulse of happiness at such a time, he confined himself, in a habitual gesture of his whenever a difficult question came to his mind, to passing his hand over his forehead, wiping his eyes and the lenses of his lorgnon. Yet he could not be consoled for the death of his wife, but, during the two years he survived her, would say to my grandfather: It's odd, I think of my poor wife often, but I can't think of her for a long time. #Quote by Marcel Proust
No Doubt quotes by Max Hastings

No Doubt quotes by George R R Martin
#88. None taken, Ser Jaremy. My father is very fond of spiked heads, especially those of people who have annoyed him in some fashion. And a face as noble as yours, well, no doubt he saw you decorating the city wall above King's Gate. I think you would have looked very striking up there. #Quote by George R R Martin
No Doubt quotes by George Bernard Shaw
#89. The medical profession (is) a conspiracy to hide its own shortcomings. No doubt the same may be said of all professions. They are all conspiracies against the laity ... (U)ntil there is a practicable alternative to blind trust in the doctor, the truth about the doctor is so terrible that we dare not face it. #Quote by George Bernard Shaw
No Doubt quotes by Dean Koontz
#90. In real life during the last decade of the twentieth century, Rumpelstiltskin would probably get the queen's daughter. He would no doubt addict her to heroin, turn her out as a prostitute, confiscate her earnings, beat her for pleasure, hack her to pieces, and escape justice by claiming that society's intolerance for bad-tempered, evil-minded trolls had driven him temporarily insane. #Quote by Dean Koontz

#93. Chava, I've no doubt you're the best baker in the city. But you can do so much more! Why spend all day making bread when you can lift more than a man's weight, and walk along the bottom of a river?" "And how would I use these abilities without calling attention to myself? Would you have me at a construction pit, hauling blocks of stone? Or should I license myself as a tugboat? #Quote by Helene Wecker
No Doubt quotes by Leigh Bardugo
#94. As Nina emerged from her thoughts, she realized that she and Matthias were attracting some very unfriendly glances. No doubt there was quite a bit of prejudice against Fjerdans among Ravkans, but this was something different. Then she glanced up at Matthias and sighed. His expression was troubled, and when he looked troubled, he looked terrifying. The fact that he was built like the tank they'd driven out of the Ice Court didn't help either. #Quote by Leigh Bardugo

No Doubt quotes by Frank Kermode
#99. The discords of our experience--delight in change, fear of change; the death of the individual and the survival of the species, the pains and pleasures of love, the knowledge of light and dark, the extinction and the perpetuity of empires--these were Spenser's subject; and they could not be treated without this third thing, a kind of time between time and eternity. He does not make it easy to extract philosophical notions from his text; but that he is concerned with the time-defeating aevum and uses it as a concord-fiction, I have no doubt. 'The seeds of knowledge,' as Descartes observed, 'are within us like fire in flint; philosophers educe them by reason, but the poets strike them forth by imagination, and they shine the more clearly.' We leave behind the philosophical statements, with their pursuit of logical consequences and distinctions, for a free, self-delighting inventiveness, a new imagining of the problems. Spenser used something like the Augustinian seminal reasons; he was probably not concerned about later arguments against them, finer discriminations. He does not tackle the questions, in the Garden cantos, of concreation, but carelessly--from a philosophical point of view--gives matter chronological priority. The point that creation necessitates mutability he may have found in Augustine, or merely noticed for himself, without wondering how it could be both that and a consequence of the Fall; it was an essential feature of one's experience of the world, and so wer #Quote by Frank Kermode

No Doubt quotes by Horia Sima
#102. There is no doubt, that in this world, there are all sorts of people who look nice, but are empty inside; who do not feel either moral or spiritual aspirations in addition to the physical gifts with which nature blessed them ... But Corneliu Codreanu, his magnificient physique corresponds to an exceptional inner wholeness. Exclamations of admiration from men left him indifferent. Praise angered him. He had only a fighter's greatness and the ambition of great reformers... The characteristic of his soul was goodness. If you want to penetrate the initial motive which prompted Corneliu Codreanu to throw in a fight so hard and almost desperate, the best answer is that he did it out of compassion for suffering people. His heart bled with thousands of injuries to see the misery in which peasants and workers struggled. His love for the people - unlimited! He was sensitive to any suffering the working masses endured. He had a cult for the humble, and showed an infinite attention to their aspirations and their hopes. The smallest window, the most trivial complaint, were examined with the same seriousness with which he addressed grave political problems. #Quote by Horia Sima
No Doubt quotes by Laurie Halse Anderson
#103. (From the Q&A with the author at the end of the book.)
Have any readers ever asked questions that shocked you?
I have gotten one question repeatedly from young men. These are guys who liked the book, but they are honestly confused. They ask me why Melinda was so upset about being raped.

The first dozen times I heard this, I was horrified. But I heard it over and over again. I realized that many young men are not being taught the impact that sexual assault has on a woman. They are inundated by sexual imagery in the media, and often come to the (incorrect) conclusion that having sex is not a big deal. This, no doubt, is why the number of sexual assaults is so high.

I am also shocked by adults who feel that rape is an inappropriate topic to discuss with teenagers. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 44 percent of rape victims are under the age of 18 and 46 percent of those victims are between the ages of 12-15. It makes adults uncomfortable to acknowledge this, but our inability to speak clearly and openly about sexual issues endangers our children. It is immoral not to discuss this with them. #Quote by Laurie Halse Anderson
No Doubt quotes by Lynn Lamb
#104. Lord August Godwine was an odious man. Stretched around the barrel of fat was an ornate golden doublet. He wore a bright-white, linen ruff with drip marks running down its curves, and ill-fitting breeches. Atop his head sat a long, brown wig, no doubt hiding the old man's baldness. A vertical rows of curls stood in direct opposition to the gray of his scraggily, upturned mustache. #Quote by Lynn Lamb

No Doubt quotes by Carolyn Crane
#106. A voice: "My goodness, Nurse Jones." I look up, startled. Simon's in the doorway, leaning against the frame, smiling.
No doubt I'm quite the sight in my bloody, sexy nurse's outfit, sitting on a bed next to a tied-up, taped-up target. "Oh, please." I collect my purse, my phone and my stun gun and walk around the bed.
Simon's smile reaches deep into his dark blue eyes. He has a long face and delicate features for a man.
I grab the sleeve of his black jacket and pull him into the outer room.
"What the fuck are you wearing? You look insane," he says.
"This? This is the creepy outfit the Alchemist put me in after he kidnapped me."
Simon stops smiling. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. #Quote by Carolyn Crane

No Doubt quotes by Courtney Milan
#114. Miss Marshall was wearing a ghastly green gown, one that had no doubt been lent to her by a friend. It fit rather poorly, gaping at the bosom and stretching at the hips. The color dimmed the fire of her hair - which, without her normal pins, refused to stay in place. Little strands made an auburn halo around her head.

No Doubt quotes by Friedrich Nietzsche, Twilight Of The Idols
#115. Nothing is beautiful, except man alone: all aesthetics rests upon this naïveté, which is its first truth. Let us immediately add the second: nothing is ugly except the degenerating man - and with this the realm of aesthetic judgment is circumscribed. Physiologically, everything ugly weakens and saddens man. It reminds him of decay, danger, impotence; it actually deprives him of strength. One can measure the effect of the ugly with a dynamometer. Wherever man is depressed at all, he senses the proximity of something "ugly." His feeling of power, his will to power, his courage, his pride - all fall with the ugly and rise with the beautiful. In both cases we draw an inference: the premises for it are piled up in the greatest abundance in instinct. The ugly is understood as a sign and symptom of degeneration: whatever reminds us in the least of degeneration causes in us the judgment of "ugly." Every suggestion of exhaustion, of heaviness, of age, of weariness; every kind of lack of freedom, such as cramps, such as paralysis; and above all, the smell, the color, the form of dissolution, of decomposition - even in the ultimate attenuation into a symbol - all evoke the same reaction, the value judgment, "ugly." A hatred is aroused - but whom does man hate then? There is no doubt: the decline of his type. Here he hates out of the deepest instinct of the species; in this hatred there is a shudder, caution, depth, farsightedness - it is the deepest hatred there is. It is be #Quote by Friedrich Nietzsche, Twilight Of The Idols

No Doubt quotes by Mike Nichols
#118. No doubt you are as alarmed as I by the tragic decline in America's language skills. If 10 people read the following sentence: Two tanker trucks has just overturned in Alaska, spilling a totel of 10,000 gallons of beer onto a highway. two would find an error in subject-verb agreement, two would find an error in spelling, and six would find a sponge and drive north. #Quote by Mike Nichols
No Doubt quotes by Ismail Haniyeh

No Doubt quotes by Edward Abbey
#120. Men come and go, cities rise and fall, whole civilizations appear and disappear-the earth remains, slightly modified. The earth remains, and the heartbreaking beauty where there are no hearts to break ... No Doubt quotes by James Russell Lowell
#121. The right of individual property is no doubt the very corner-stone of civilization, as hitherto understood; but I am a little impatient of being told that property is entitled to exceptional consideration because it bears all the burdens of the state. It bears those, indeed, which can be most easily borne, but poverty pays with its person the chief expenses of war, pestilence, and famine. #Quote by James Russell Lowell
No Doubt quotes by B. Carroll Reece

#125. The costumes of these two ladies seemed to me like the materialisation, snow-white or patterned with colour, of their inner activity, and, like the gestures which I had seen the Princesse de Guermantes make and which, I had no doubt, corresponded to some latent idea, the plumes which swept down from her forehead and her cousin's dazzling and spangled bodice seemed to have a special meaning, to be to each of these women an attribute which was hers and hers alone. #Quote by Marcel Proust

No Doubt quotes by Frances A. Yates
#127. The main reason why serious historical studies of the Rosicrucian manifestos and their influence have hitherto been on the whole lacking is no doubt because the whole subject has been bedevilled by enthusiasts for secret societies. There is a vast literature on Rosicrucianism which assumes the existence of a secret society, founded by Christian Rosencreutz, and having a continuous existence up to modern times. In the vague and inaccurate world of so-called 'occultist' writing this assumption has produced a kind of literature which deservedly sinks below the notice of the serious historian. And when, as if often the case, the misty discussion of 'Rosicrucians' and their history becomes involved with the masonic myths, the enquirer feels that he is sinking helplessly into a bottomless bog. #Quote by Frances A. No Doubt quotes by Vladimir Nabokov
#132. No doubt, he is horrible, he is abject, he is a shining example of moral leprosy, a mixture of ferocity and jocularity that betrays supreme misery perhaps, but is not conductive to attractiveness.
He is ponderously capricious.
Many of his casual opinions on people and scenery of this country are ludicrous.
A desperate honesty that throbs through his confession does not absolve him from sins of diabolical cunning.

No Doubt quotes by Dinesh D'Souza
#133. Christ remains the most influential figure in history. Any list of world-transforming individuals would no doubt include Moses, Buddha, and Muhammad. Moses, Buddha, and Muhammad, however occupy totally different places in Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam than Christ occupies in Christianity. Moses, Buddha, and Muhammad never professed to perform miracles; indeed they never claimed to be anything more than men. They viewed themselves simply as God's messengers. Christ is the only person in history who has defined a whole religion around his person. #Quote by Dinesh D'Souza
No Doubt quotes by Kathryn Smith
#134. Oh, ho!" his brother cried, clasping him close in a fierce embrace. "Did you think you'd escape without saying hello?" Then, for Grey's ears alone, "I'm so frigging proud of you I could just piss."
"Please don't." Grey gently pushed him away, meeting the other man's bright gaze with a lump in his throat. "But thank you."
His mother hugged him as well, so overcome that she began to weep. Grey didn't know what to do with her, but Archer gave her a handkerchief and Rose discreetly took her aside so she could compose herself.
That left Grey with Bronte, who looked as though she was on the verge of tears as well, her blue eyes watery behind her mask.
"You," he said firmly. "Let you and I get one thing straight right now. I don't care if you've already asked Archer. I don't care what your groom's family wants, or who you think you're trying to protect. I will give you away, or there will be no wedding. Is that understood?"
The cupid's bow of his sister's mouth trembled and for a moment he thought he had been wrong about her and now she hated him, but then she threw herself into his arms, laughing.
"I love you," she whispered against his ear before kissing his cheek.
She was gone before Grey could even hug her back, which was probably just as well given the burning in his eyes.
"We'll be all over the scandal rags tomorrow," Archer crowed with a bit too much enthusiasm.

No Doubt quotes by Michael Chabon
#138. On this particular autumn night, only the prospect of another solitary evening lies before her. She will fry her chop and read herself to sleep, no doubt with a tale of wizardry and romance. #143. Tell me you didn't," she groaned, knowing it would not be the truth. "Please tell me you didn't take advantage of these poor people."

"I didn't," he chirped.

"Liar."

With an irritated sigh he tried to convince her. "Amora, you're not seeing things from an immortal perspective. The people who built this temple…"

"Temple?" she cried, cutting him off. "You forced these people to build you a temple? Why? Because all of a sudden you're God now?"

Perturbed by her interruption, he raised a warning finger. "No, no, Amora, not God. But from their viewpoint I may seem a bit…..god-like."

She rolled her eyes in an exaggerated manner.

"If you would let me finish," he went on, "these particular individuals had no part in the construction of that monument; it was their ancestors who erected it. And I must say, they did a fine job. My likeness has weathered the centuries quite well."

"You're despicable."

He frowned at the insult. "Nobody was forced to build us a temple, Amora. They chose to do so."

"You were that impressive to them, huh?"

"Apparently." His eyes twinkled at the memory. He took a few steps toward the distant city, pulling Eena along. "Come on, let's go have some fun."

#144. So, you see, you will have to learn to listen to more of the radio music of life. It'll do you good. You are uncommonly poor in gifts, a poor blockhead, but by degrees you will come to grasp what is required of you. You have got to learn to laugh. That will be required of you. You must apprehend the humor of life, its gallows-humor. But of course you are ready for everything in the world except what will be required of you. You are ready to stab girls to death. You are ready to be executed with all solemnity. You would be ready, no doubt, to mortify and scourge yourself for centuries together. Wouldn't you? It is time to come to your senses...You are to live and to learn to laugh. You are to learn to listen to the cursed radio music of life and to reverence the spirit behind it and to laugh at its distortions. So there you are. More will not be asked of you #Quote by Hermann Hesse
No Doubt quotes by Meghan Quinn
#145. I love what you've done with your hair. No doubt the whole bullseye on top of your head is fun for birds when you're outside. #Quote by Meghan Quinn
No Doubt quotes by Ralph Waldo Emerson
#146. Write it on your heart
that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day
who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays. #Quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson
No Doubt quotes by Marcellus A. Walker
#147. No doubt about it, allopathic medicine (the term used to describe conventional Western medicine) is superb at dealing with trauma and bacterial infections, but it is not nearly as effective as natural medicine at managing chronic pain, autoimmune disease, and degenerative conditions. #Quote by Marcellus A. Walker
No Doubt quotes by Stephen Fry
#148. Nowadays a lot of what was wrong with me would no doubt be ascribed to Attention Deficit Disorder, tartrazine food colouring, dairy produce and air pollution. A few hundred years earlier it would have been demons, still the best analogy I think, but not much help when it comes to a cure. #Quote by Stephen Fry
No Doubt quotes by Jill McCorkle
#149. One day, when my son was eight, he came into the kitchen while I was cooking and said: 'You put bad words in your books, don't you?' No doubt he had overheard my mother, who often tells people who ask about my work: 'Well, you'll never find her books in the Christian bookstore.' #Quote by Jill McCorkle
No Doubt quotes by Shana Abe
#150. I won't trouble you long," said Maricara. "No doubt you have all manner of pressing plans to consider. Spies to engage. Betrayals to enact. That sort of thing."
"Only on Sundays," Kim replied. "It's Tuesday. We're discussing stealing sweetmeats from small children today. #Quote by Shana Abe
No Doubt quotes by Iain Banks
#151. It was a war scripted by Heller from a story by Orwell, and somebody would be bombing their own airfield before too long, no doubt. #Quote by Iain Banks
No Doubt quotes by Haile Selassie
#152. Knowledge is power. If it is not applied properly to create, let there be no doubts, it will destroy. #Quote by Haile Selassie
No Doubt quotes by Arthur Conan Doyle
#153. ""Dear girl," continued Bob advancing with an imbecile grin upon his countenance, which he imagined no doubt to be a seductive smile, "fly with me! Be mine! Share with me the wild free life of a barrister! Say that you return the love which consumes my heart - oh, say it!" Here Bob put his hand over a hole in his waistcoat and struck a dramatic attitude. #Quote by Arthur Conan Doyle
No Doubt quotes by Dalai Lama
#154. Unless we possess high spiritual qualifications, there is no doubt that the events life throws upon us will give rise to frustration, emotional turmoil, and other distorted states of consciousness. These imperfect states of mind in turn give rise to imperfect activities, and the seeds of suffering are ever planted in a steady flow. #Quote by Dalai Lama
No Doubt quotes by Charles Darwin
#155. Man, like every other animal, has no doubt advanced to his present high condition through a struggle for existence consequent on his multiplication; and if he is to advance still higher, it is to be feared that he must remain subject to a severe struggle. #Quote by Charles Darwin
No Doubt quotes by George Thorogood
#156. There is no doubt in my mind who is number one - I have always been number one. #Quote by George Thorogood
No Doubt quotes by Joe Perry
#157. There's no doubt arena shows are exciting, but you don't get that up close and personal kind of vibe, and that's what rock n' roll is all about for me. #Quote by Joe Perry
No Doubt quotes by Gerald Hickey
#158. There,to survive, they will no doubt readapt, drawing upon the resilence and courage they displayed during the Vietnam War to perserve harmony with nature and cosmic forces. There they will live with unflagging dignity, working unceasingly from day to day to salvalge the remaining pieces of their shattered world. #Quote by Gerald Hickey
No Doubt quotes by Rick Riordan
#159. Thalia ignored him as usual (which no doubt meant she thought he was as cool as ever). #Quote by Rick Riordan
No Doubt quotes by Arthur Golden
#160. Water never waits. It changes shape and floes around things, and finds the secret paths no one else thought about __ the tiny hole through the roof or the bottom of a box. There's no doubt it's the most versatile of the five elements. It can wash away earth, it can put out fire; it can wear a piece of metal down and can sweep it away. Even wood, which is its natural complement, can'survive without being nurtured by water. #Quote by Arthur Golden
No Doubt quotes by Deborah L. Parker
#161. Plus I have no doubt that their garden is also where my grandparents dreamed - for a better life of equality for their grandchildren and future generations. As people rooted in their faith, they probably did a lot of praying here as well, that God would deliver us all to prosperity and peace beyond this plot of land. #Quote by Deborah L. Parker
No Doubt quotes by Anna Sewell
#162. I said, 'I have heard people talk about war as if it was a very fine thing.'
Ah!' said [Captain], 'I should think they never saw it. No doubt it is very fine when there is no enemy, when it is just exercise and parade, and sham-fight. Yes, it is very fine then; but when thousands of good brave men and horses are killed, or crippled for life, it has a very different look.'
Do you know what they fought about?' said I.
No,' he said, 'that is more than a horse can understand, but the enemy must have been awfully wicked people, if it was right to go all that way over the sea on purpose to kill them. #Quote by Anna Sewell
No Doubt quotes by Diana Gabaldon
#163. When you took me from the witch trial at Cranesmuir--you said then that you would have died with me, you would have gone to the stake with me, had it come to that!"

He grasped my hands, fixing me with a steady blue gaze.

"Aye, I would," he said. "But I wasna carrying your child."

The wind had frozen me; it was the cold that made me shake, I told myself. The cold that took my breath away.

"You can't tell," I said, at last. "It's much too soon to be sure."

He snorted briefly, and a tiny flicker of amusement lit his eyes.

"And me a farmer, too! Sassenach, ye havena been a day late in your courses, in all the time since ye first took me to your bed. Ye havena bled now in forty-six days."

"You bastard!" I said, outraged. "You counted! In the middle of a bloody war, you counted!"

"Didn't you?"

"No!" I hadn't; I had been much too afraid to acknowledge the possibility of the thing I had hoped and prayed for so long, come now so horribly too late.

"Besides," I went on, trying still to deny the possibility, "that doesn't mean anything. Starvation could cause that; it often does."

He lifted one brow, and cupped a broad hand gently beneath my breast.

"Aye, you're thin enough; but scrawny as ye are, your breasts are full--and the nipples of them gone the color of Champagne grapes. You forget," he said, "I've seen ye so before. I have no doubt--and neither hav #Quote by Diana Gabaldon
No Doubt quotes by J.A. Ironside
#164. How did you get so scratched up then, Emlynn?" He looked at me uncertainly again.

I felt wildly like laughing. Too many swooping highs and plummeting lows. What a weird few
days. Weird being a massive understatement.

"Cr-Crawling through gorse bushes." I took a perverse delight in answering his questions in a way that told him nothing at all. I'd never paid much attention to boys before. Maybe Grace was onto something after all.

"Crawling through gorse," he repeated. "Part of your action-girl antics, no doubt?"

"N-no doubt." I smirked again. #Quote by J.A. Ironside
No Doubt quotes by Various
#165. GOD GRACE BY BIRTH FEMALE PNEUMA RHADAMANTHINE DRACONIAN HEBETIC PUBERAL THAN MEN. OBVIOUSY, MODERN ERUDITED WOMEN WILL PLY PILOT EITHER INTRAMURAL AND ALFRSCO HAP DEXTEROUSLY .NO DOUBT AT ALL. #Quote by Various
No Doubt quotes by Richelle Mead
#166. He smiled willingly. "Well, I always aim to help others in need."
"Yeah," a new voice suddenly said. "That's exactly what comes to mind when I think of you, old man."
I hadn't thought anyone could shock me more that Abe, but I was wrong. "Rose?" The name cam out as a question from my lips, even though could be no doubt about who this newcomer was. There was only one Rose Hathaway, after all.
"Hey, Sydney," she said, giving me a small, crooked smile as she entered the room. #Quote by Richelle Mead
No Doubt quotes by Kiersten White
#167. I heard a thunk that sounded like Lend's head against the door. "This is stupid. Let my dad take care of it. He's been contacting everyone he knows who is still with IPCA, and - "
I walked over and put my own head against the door, pretending there wasn't anything between us. "And it doesn't matter. IPCA isn't the same. There are new people in charge, and they aren't messing around. I can help her. Raquel would do the same for me. She has done the same for me."
"I don't see what good it's going to do for you to waltz back in there and - "
"Can I tango back in there, instead? So much sexier than the waltz."
"Evie, I'm serious! You just broke out of IPCA! You're going to get tased and tagged again."
"I really doubt it. Faerie backup, remember?" I went to the window and looked down into the yard, where Reth stood in the midst of the dead brown grass, looking like a god of spring and sunshine who had seriously lost his way. He was staring straight up at me, although how he knew I'd look straight down that instant I had no idea. Creeper.
I shivered a little, still not breaking eye contact with Reth. I was in over my head, I knew that, and I knew I'd owe him even more after this. I had no doubt I'd pay in a way I really didn't want to, and soon.
The door shook as Lend kicked it. "Pretty much the only idea I like less than you walking back into IPCA is you walking back into IPCA with only Jack and Reth for protection."
"They owe me."

No Doubt quotes by Jose Saramago
#168. That night there was no conversation, no prayers or stories around the fire, as if the proximity of Jerusalem demanded respectful silence, each man searching his heart and asking, Who is this person who resembles me yet whom I fail to recognize. This is not what they actually said, for people do not start talking to themselves like that, nor was this even in their conscious thoughts, but there can be no doubt that as we sit staring into the flames of a camp fire, our silence can be expressed only with words like these, which say everything. #Quote by Jose Saramago
No Doubt quotes by Thomas Piketty
#169. Goldin and Katz have no doubt that increased wage inequality in the United States is due to a failure to invest sufficiently in higher education. More precisely, too many people failed to receive the necessary training, in part because families could not afford the high cost of tuition. In order to reverse this trend, they conclude, the United States should invest heavily in education so that as many people as possible can attend college. #Quote by Thomas Piketty
No Doubt quotes by Gregory Maguire
#170. No doubt Noah offered his wife that olive branch. Forty days in a boat with those animals to clean up after? A peace offering likely all that stood between their marriage and bloody murder. #Quote by Gregory Maguire
No Doubt quotes by Melissa Jensen
#171. I noticed that she left her office door open, too.So she could keep an eye on me, no doubt, in case I decided to grab the andirons and make a run for it.
I stood for a minute, taking it all in. Not what I'd expected at all. And Edward hadn't been any help: "Heavens, how should I know what's there? Whatever was left after my collective vulture of a family descended,I assume..."
The first thing I did was to sit down on the sofa. The old leather creaked loudly enough to make me flinch. But it was worth risking the return of Dr. Rothaus to sit where Edward had sat. Only, it didn't feel very significant. Just cold and little slippery. #Quote by Melissa Jensen
No Doubt quotes by R.C. Sproul
#172. Even if it cannot be
proven that a fetus is an actual living human person, there is no doubt that it is a potential living human person. In other words, a fetus is a developing person. It is not in a frozen state of potentiality. The fetus is in dynamic process-without interference or unforeseen calamity, it surely will become a fully actualized living human person. #Quote by R.C. Sproul
No Doubt quotes by Rio Ferdinand

No Doubt quotes by Oscar Wilde

No Doubt quotes by Agatha Christie
#175. Presently, when the strain relaxed, Blore said: 'There are habits and habits! Mr. Lombard takes a revolver to out-of-the-way places, right enough, and a primus and a sleeping-bag and a supply of bug powder, no doubt! But habit wouldn't make him bring the whole outfit down here? It's only in books people carry revolvers around as a matter of course.' Dr. Armstrong shook his head perplexedly. #Quote by Agatha Christie
No Doubt quotes by William J. Brennan
#176. There can be no doubt that our Nation has had a long and unfortunate history of sex discrimination. Traditionally, such discrimination was rationalized by an attitude of "romantic paternalism" which, in practical effect, put women, not on a pedestal, but in a cage. #Quote by William J. Brennan
No Doubt quotes by Hillary Clinton
#177. There is no doubt that the increasing numbers of women in the economy has helped fuel significant growth everywhere. And economies that are making the shift more effectively and rapidly are dramatically outperforming those that have not. #Quote by Hillary Clinton
No Doubt quotes by Charles Dickens
#178. As I followed the chief waiter with my eyes, I could not help thinking that the garden in which he had gradually blown to be the flower he was, was an arduous place to rise in. It had such a prescriptive, stiff-necked, long-established, solemn, elderly air. I glanced about the room, which had had its sanded floor sanded, no doubt, in exactly the same manner when the chief waiter was a boy - if he ever was a boy, which appeared improbable; and at the shining tables, where I saw myself reflected, in unruffled depths of old mahogany; and at the lamps, without a flaw in their trimming or cleaning; and at the comfortable green curtains, with their pure brass rods, snugly enclosing the boxes; and at the two large coal fires, brightly burning; and at the rows of decanters, burly as if with the consciousness of pipes of expensive old port wine below; and both England and the law appeared to me to be very difficult indeed to be taken by storm. #Quote by Charles Dickens
No Doubt quotes by Ben Carson
#179. I've had experiences in my life that leave no doubt in my mind about the fact that God exists. I'm quite willing to debate people who don't think so because I want them to explain to me how did our solar system get so organized and how is the universe so complex and yet well-organized that we can predict 70 years hence when a comet is coming? #Quote by Ben Carson
No Doubt quotes by Thomas Ligotti
#180. Some uncomfortable moments later Day told me she had a prior engagement and was running late. It seemed she had made girl plans with a girlfriend of hers to do some girly things girls do when they get together with others of their kind. I said I understood, and I did. There is no doubt in my mind of the gender of Day's companion this night, and perhaps other nights I did not know about. #Quote by Thomas Ligotti
No Doubt quotes by Jay Kristoff
#181. I've been thinking about what you said," Lemon declared. "About whether your past makes you what you are. That's all our memories are, right? The pieces of our yesterdays that make us who we are today?"
Eve thought about it for a while, finally nodded. "Sounds right."
"So you've had some bad days, no doubt," Lemon said. "But I figure, instead of letting your yesterdays bring you down, maybe you can concentrate on building some happier memories today. And that way you'll have them for tomorrow? #Quote by Jay Kristoff
No Doubt quotes by David Cameron
#182. If I've learnt anything over the last six years it's that the most important thing is the strength of our economy. That is how we pay for our NHS, how we build schools, how we provide opportunities for people. And I'm in absolutely no doubt that our economy will be stronger if we stay in and will be weaker and at risk if we leave. #Quote by David Cameron
No Doubt quotes by Mary E. Pearson
#183. I knew why he chose the brown. It was the plainest of my dresses, certainly drab in his eyes, but all the better to contrast and showcase the red he'd have me wear tomorrow. I had no doubt he'd ordered the snow itself as the perfect backdrop, and surely he'd ordered the sun to shine in the morning so as not to deter the crowds. #Quote by Mary E. Pearson
No Doubt quotes by Nick Flynn
#184. When I was a child, writing was the worst possible choice of a career in my family. My father had always identified himself as a writer to my mother when they met. When they met, he was writing this great novel, there was no doubt about it. #Quote by Nick Flynn
No Doubt quotes by Tony D'Souza
#185. I have no doubt that 'On the Road' is a Great American Novel. But I'm also certain my students will do fine without it. #Quote by Tony D'Souza
No Doubt quotes by Stephen Jenkinson
#186. If you wrestle an angel, you will grow muscle. There's no doubt of that. You will also hurt in places that you didn't know you had. There's no doubt of that either. And you will lose, by the normal calculus of trying to engineer the life that you're sure you deserve. It will not come out as you planned, wrestling angels. Your plans our usually the first casualty of the match. But here is that great secret of it: you will be able to boast of your defeat. You will be able to stand in the wreckage of what used to be your certainty, your creed, your way of doing life's business, and you can tell wild, true stories about how it all came to ruin. Whatever is left standing - and there is always something left standing when you wrestle angels - is the thing that was true about you and your life all along, as faithful a companion as the Earth that will one day cradle you again. #Quote by Stephen Jenkinson
No Doubt quotes by Desmond Tutu
#187. I have no doubt that in the future, the laws that criminalize human love and commitment will look the way the apartheid laws do to us now, so obviously wrong #Quote by Desmond Tutu
No Doubt quotes by Kathryn Smith
#188. No doubt he was brooding upstairs in their bedroom, or perhaps in his study, wishing to God that he'd had the sense to stay the hell away from her as her father asked of him.
God knew there had been a few moments as of late when she'd thought the very same.
And then she realized that she would rather be miserable with Grey than content with any other man. How pathetic and deranged was that? #Quote by Kathryn Smith
No Doubt quotes by William O'Brien
#189. My path will weave
The way you say
There is no doubt
You'll create the way #Quote by William O'Brien
No Doubt quotes by Eoin Colfer
#190. No, mademoiselle, I would not like to see the children's menu. I have no doubt that the children's menu itself tastes better than the meals on it. I would like to order à la carte. Or don't you serve fish to minors? #Quote by Eoin Colfer
No Doubt quotes by Saim Cheeda
#191. Those eyes so ecstatic with the gleam of new life, the wide laugh that no doubt uses up so much of the breath contained in those tiny lungs. #Quote by Saim Cheeda
No Doubt quotes by Patrick Somerville
#192. Nobody, anywhere, has any real sense what is actually going on." This doesn't seem to get a very good reaction from the crowd - no doubt I'm scowling as I say it, but still. I continue: "I don't either, but at least I know I don't. I'm sorry but you people aren't like me." This is me trying to take the edge off. Being friendly. "You haven't done the shit I've done. #Quote by Patrick Somerville
No Doubt quotes by Diamond D
#193. I creep like a thief, no doubt the man's swift,
I'm more magnificent than Lee Van Cleef #Quote by Diamond D
No Doubt quotes by Howard Zinn
#194. No doubt that anarchist ideas are frightening to those in power. People in power can tolerate liberal ideas. They can tolerate ideas that call for reforms, but they cannot tolerate the idea that there will be no state, no central authority. So it is very important for them to ridicule the idea of anarchism to create this impression of anarchism as violent and chaotic. It is useful for them. #Quote by Howard Zinn
No Doubt quotes by Ian McDonald
#195. It's one thing building a cloister to reflect the 768 of the numerological Bismillah, it's another planning a giant alphabet out of an entire city before you've even built your first mosque.'
'It is, but remember, Sinan was chief architect and city planner at the time of the conquest of Cairo. He practised on that city; demolishing and building where he liked. I have no doubt that he was already forming the idea of a sacred geometry. His first building as Architect of the Abode of Felicity was the Haseki Hürrem Mosque for the Kadin Roxelana. Not his greatest work by any means, and he was working from existing designs, but it was identifiable as his first mature work. There's a story in his autobiography Tezkiretül Bünyan that while he was surveying the site he noticed that children were pulling live fish from a grating in the street. When he went to investigate he discovered an entire Roman cistern down there. Perhaps it was this that inspired him to realize his vision. Hidden water. The never-ceasing stream of Hurufism. #Quote by Ian McDonald
No Doubt quotes by Bobby Fischer
#196. I studied that first Karpov-Kasparov match for a year and a half before I cracked it, what they were doing, and discovered that it was all prearranged move-by-move. There's no doubt of it in my mind. #Quote by Bobby Fischer
No Doubt quotes by James Buchan
#197. The world survived the fall of the Roman empire and will no doubt outlast our own so much more splendid civilisation. #Quote by James Buchan
No Doubt quotes by Lisa Kleypas
#198. I feel the curve of his smile against my skin. But as he lifts his head and looks into my eyes, his grin fades. "Haven ... I don't know if I'm going to be a good father. What if I don't do it right?"
I am touched by Hardy's concern, his constant desire to be the man he thinks I deserve. Even when we disagree, I have no doubt that I am cherished. And respected. And I know that neither of us takes the other one for granted.
I have come to realize you can never be truly happy unless you've known some sorrow. All the terrible things Hardy and I have gone through in our lives have created the spaces inside where happiness can live. Not to mention love. So much love that there doesn't seem to be room for bitterness in either of us.
"I think the fact that you're worrying about it at all," I say, "means you'll probably be great at it. #Quote by Lisa Kleypas
No Doubt quotes by Marco Rubio
#199. The immigration issue is a gateway issue for Hispanics, no doubt about it. #Quote by Marco Rubio
No Doubt quotes by Brian Ferneyhough
#200. With respect to the respective French and German traditions you are no doubt correct, although I am reluctant to see individual achievement reduced to archetypes. #Quote by Brian Ferneyhough
No Doubt quotes by Laura Busche
#201. Research conquers doubt. It aligns everyone around the incontestable. Research is the key to clarity - in startups, enterprises, and life itself. #Quote by Laura Busche
No Doubt quotes by Richard Lloyd Anderson
#202. I might as well doubt my own existence as to doubt the divine authenticity of the Book of Mormon or the divine calling of Joseph Smith. #Quote by Richard Lloyd Anderson
No Doubt quotes by Joseph Butler
#203. In all common ordinary cases, we see intuitively at first view what is out duty, what is the honest part. This is the ground of the observation, that the first thought is often the best. In these cases, doubt and deliberation is itself dishonesty; as it was in Balaam upon the second message. #Quote by Joseph Butler
No Doubt quotes by Criss Jami
#204. What I admire about the modern atheist is not at all his logic, but rather his gift of imagination. There will always be the cartoon versions of Christianity further perpetuated by the extremist atheists who do not possess the humility to ask real scholars and theologians its difficult questions. There is little doubt that the atheist has the bigger imagination: the first reason is due to his persistent caricatures of what constitutes a Christian; the second because of his belief that most of his questions are actually rhetorical. From this I can infer that, instead of laughing at one another (the Christian at modern atheist immaturity and the modern atheist at Christian stupidity), we would have a better chance at productivity laughing with one another as we all dumb down what we don't understand. #Quote by Criss Jami
No Doubt quotes by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
#205. We actually need intelligent doubt and skepticism; they protect us against mistaken views and propaganda. #Quote by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche
No Doubt quotes by Anna Kendrick
#206. It's not that deep down I want someone to "take care of me," it's that I'm exhausted, and occasionally overwhelmed by self-doubt. I'm steering the ship, but I don't know what I'm doing. None of us do. But it would be *so nice* to believe that someone out there did, and that maybe they could take the wheel for a little while. #Quote by Anna Kendrick
No Doubt quotes by John C. Maxwell
#207. People rise and fall to meet your level of expectations for them. If you express skepticism and doubt in others, they will return your lack of confidence with mediocrity. But if you believe in them and expect them to do well, they will go the extra mile trying to do their best. #Quote by John C. Maxwell
No Doubt quotes by Frans De Waal
#208. There are so many ways to account for negative outcomes that it is safer to doubt one's methods before doubting one's subjects. #Quote by Frans De Waal
No Doubt quotes by Ronda Rousey
#209. Don't doubt, don't stop ... The only 2 things that can stop you is to stop working and start doubting. #Quote by Ronda Rousey
No Doubt quotes by Steven E. Landsburg
#210. Given sufficient ignorance, one can doubt evolution ... #Quote by Steven E. Landsburg
No Doubt quotes by Aleister Crowley
#211. Every individual has some qualities that endear him to some other. And per contra, I doubt if there is any class which is not detestable to some other class. Artists, police, the clergy, "reds," foxhunters, Freemasons, Jews, "heaven-born," women's clubwomen (especially in U.S.A.), "Methodys," golfers, dog-lovers; you can't find one body without its "natural" enemies. It's right, what's worse; every class, as a class, is almost sure to have more defects than qualities. As soon as you put men together, they somehow sink, corporatively, below the level of the worst of the individuals composing it. Collect scholars on a club committee, or men of science on a jury; all their virtues vanish, and their vices pop out, reinforced by the self-confidence which the power of numbers is bound to bestow. #Quote by Aleister Crowley
No Doubt quotes by Vince Flynn
#212. Have you ever heard the phrase, it is better to keep your mouth closed and have people wonder if you are stupid than open it and remove all doubt? (Hakim al Harbi) #Quote by Vince Flynn
No Doubt quotes by Gene Wolfe
#213. Ambiguity is necessary in some of my stories, not in all. In those, it certainly contributes to the richness of the story. I doubt that thematic closure is never attainable. #Quote by Gene Wolfe
No Doubt quotes by Letitia Elizabeth Landon
#214. Social life is filled with doubts and vain aspirings; solitude, when the imagination is dethroned, is turned to weariness and ennui. #Quote by Letitia Elizabeth Landon
No Doubt quotes by Charlie Huston
#215. For there is nothing quite so terror-inducing as the loss of sleep. It creates phantoms and doubts, causes one to questions one's own abilities and judgement, and, over time, dismantles, from within, the body. #Quote by Charlie Huston
No Doubt quotes by Karen Salmansohn
#216. I believe a lot of what contributes to the sadness and downward-spiraling in our lives is a sense of hopelessness. We become resentful when circumstances aren't unfolding as we want, leading us to doubt whether we will ever get what we want. #Quote by Karen Salmansohn
No Doubt quotes by Tiffany Reisz
#217. Tell Dr. Jonas next time I'll do that thing he likes with the peanut butter and the cock ring."
"It is without a doubt the sole reason he went to medical school. #Quote by Tiffany Reisz
No Doubt quotes by John Adams
#218. There exists, I believe, throughout the whole Christian world, a law which makes it blasphemy to deny or doubt the divine inspiration of all the books of the Old and New Testaments, from Genesis to Revelations. In most countries of Europe it is punished by fire at the stake, or the rack, or the wheel ... Now, what free inquiry, when a writer must surely encounter the risk of fine or imprisonment for adducing any argument for investigating the divine authority of those books? #Quote by John Adams
No Doubt quotes by Beth Morey
#219. she prays to feel as powerful
as she might if God sang silent
words into her ear and answered
all the rattling questions

No Doubt quotes by Fridtjof Nansen
#220. The starry sky is the truest friend in life, when you first become acquainted; it is ever there, it gives ever peace, ever reminds you that your restlessness, your doubt, your pains are passing trivialities. The universe is and will remain unshaken. Our opinions, our struggles, or sufferings are not so important and unique, when all is said and done. #Quote by Fridtjof Nansen
No Doubt quotes by Tana French
#221. Trust your instincts, Dad always says. If something feels dodgy to you, if someone feels dodgy, you go with dodgy. Don't give the benefit of the doubt because you want to be a nice person, don't wait and see in case you look stupid. Safe comes first. Second could be too late. #Quote by Tana French
No Doubt quotes by Flann O'Brien
#222. Are your friends as good as MY friends? I can discern the nod of of assent but doubt it. My own friends are far better, they are famous people and they are all dead.
Who, you may ask, are those friends of mine, and why are they dead?
It is a fair question. They are dead because, had they lived, they would have died anyway from extreme old age and decrepitude. #Quote by Flann O'Brien

No Doubt quotes by Hannah Anderson
#235. Thankfully, He's the kind of God who welcomes our questions, who can wrestle with us through the confusion and still bless us in the process. He is the kind of God who desires true faith, even at its weakest points, and looks for mustard seeds instead of mountains. He is the kind of God who delights in the plea, "Help my unbelief" and then holds on to us because we can't hold on to Him anymore. He is the kind of God who can handle all our doubt, all our fear, all our questions if we will simply commit to letting Him. #Quote by Hannah Anderson
