Charitable Organizations quotes by Kate Douglas Wiggin
#1. One cannot see callers, answer the telephone, go to luncheons or dinners, visit the dentist or shoemaker, address charitable organizations in or from a bed; therefore a bed, in my experience, is simply bristling with ideas. #Quote by Kate Douglas Wiggin
Charitable Organizations quotes by Carmen Posadas
#2. All that work: his generous patronage of the arts, the vast sums of money he had donated to worthy causes, setting up charitable organizations . . . for what? In the end, none of those good works had redeemed him in the eyes of others. People think that men like me give money away to buy forgiveness for a sin or out of vanity, when it's the winner's pathetic tribute to the loser. Look at me, we seem to be begging, I need you too. I need you to accept me, to admire me, to love me. #Quote by Carmen Posadas
Charitable Organizations quotes by Anthony Robbins
#3. Sir John Templeton, not only the world's greatest investor but also one of the greatest human beings, shared something with me almost 30 years ago: he said that he's never known anyone who tithed - meaning the person gave 8% or 10% of what he earned to religious or charitable organizations over a ten-year period - who didn't massively grow his financial wealth. #Quote by Anthony Robbins
Charitable Organizations quotes by Pratheepan Gulasekaram
#4. States were barred from financing their immigration systems with specific taxes on immigrants and transportation companies, leaving the continued existence of these state institutions to the general state fisc or the generosity of private charitable organizations interested in immigrant welfare and integration. The resource strain on states and charitable organizations placed enormous pressure on Congress to enact federal law. #Quote by Pratheepan Gulasekaram
Charitable Organizations quotes by Natalia Vodianova
#5. When I work as a model, it feels like holiday. Doing a shoot is so light in a way that it's really a good break from being a mother or running a charitable organization and other philanthropic projects that I'm really passionate about. #Quote by Natalia Vodianova
Charitable Organizations quotes by Iyanla Vanzant
#6. There is nothing you need to do to make yourself more acceptable to God. You don't have to work harder, nor do you need to change the kind of work you do. You don't have to give more money to charitable organizations. The reality is, God doesn't want you to give anyone anything if you only do it to impress God! God does not love you or find you acceptable because of anything that you do. God loves you and accepts you because you are a part of God. #Quote by Iyanla Vanzant
Charitable Organizations quotes by Pearl Zhu
#7. Metaphorically, organizations are like vegetable gardens, where each capability is a different type of vegetable growing in the garden. #Quote by Pearl Zhu
Charitable Organizations quotes by Ben Bernanke
#8. Given the central role of effective, firmwide risk management in maintaining strong financial institutions, it is clear that supervisors must redouble their efforts to help organizations improve their risk-management practices ... We are also considering the need for additional or revised supervisory guidance regarding various aspects of risk management, including further emphasis on the need for an enterprise-wide perspective when assessing risk. #Quote by Ben Bernanke
Charitable Organizations quotes by Thomas Jefferson
#9. Above all things, lose no occasion of exercising your dispositions to be grateful, to be generous, to be charitable, to be humane, to be true, just, firm, orderly, courageous, etc. Consider every act of this kind as an exercise which will strengthen your moral faculties and increase your worth. #Quote by Thomas Jefferson

Charitable Organizations quotes by Seth Godin
#14. So now, having learned from machines, organizations are applying the same logic to people. Letting people in the organization use their best judgment turns out to be faster and cheaper - but only if you hire the right people and reward them for having the right attitude. #Quote by Seth Godin
Charitable Organizations quotes by Paul S. Lynch
#15. My Voice
Paul Stephen Lynch

Why was I born? What is my purpose here on this earth? Is there more out there after this life ends? At some point we all ask ourselves these questions. I can tell you with absolute certainty that for me, the answer to all three of these questions is… "I don't know". However, what I do know is that while I am here I am meant to learn from my mistakes, to grow through my pain, and to evolve. What will I be changed into? Again, I do not know. Perhaps I will become someone who is more courageous, more charitable, more peaceful, more dignified, more honest and more loving. I am very hopeful but nothing in life is guaranteed. Although, I have discovered that speaking from my heart and telling my truth is an integral part of my transformation. It is my voice.

In those times in my life when I have experienced great pain – sadness, loss, conflict or depression – those have been the times that have brought me closest to this transformation. I recently realized that pain is one of the few things that seems to really get my attention and that I have spent a lot of my time just coasting down life's path. Perhaps this is the reason why I seem to grow the most during the hard times, even though it often takes all the energy I can muster just to get through them.

Quite a few years ago, while I was visiting a friend who was dying from AIDS, I saw a tapestry on the hospital wall that read:

#16. What you give away with love will always remain with you. #Quote by Debasish Mridha
Charitable Organizations quotes by Bill O'Reilly
#17. Every time I am tempted to buy some dopey thing, I hear my late father's voice: 'Do you really need that?' He was big on saving money and buying as much security as possible. He also encouraged charitable giving. So, I am responsible with currency. #Quote by Bill O'Reilly
Charitable Organizations quotes by Donald Bren
#18. When I first joined the Irvine Company, I realized that less than 11,000 acres were designated as open space in the original master plan, and that just didn't seem adequate to me. So, I began the lengthy process working with public and community organizations to add more open space. #Quote by Donald Bren
Charitable Organizations quotes by Anne Applebaum
#19. As time went on, the communist attack on civil society would change and become more sophisticated. In order to create competition for authentic civil society, the regimes would create ersatz 'official' civic groups, organizations that sometimes looked independent but were in fact controlled by the state. #Quote by Anne Applebaum
Charitable Organizations quotes by Steve Tisch
#20. My father ... very generous, very philanthropic, very charitable man. My siblings and I and my mother continue with always appreciating and always giving back. It's something I hope that I've become a role model for my children. #Quote by Steve Tisch
Charitable Organizations quotes by Noam Chomsky
#21. Immediately after 11 September, the U.S. closed down the Somali charitable network Al-Barakaat on grounds that it was financing terror. This achievement was hailed one of the great successes of the 'war on terror.' In contrast, Washington's withdrawal of its charges as without merit a year later aroused little notice. #Quote by Noam Chomsky
Charitable Organizations quotes by P. J. O'Rourke

Charitable Organizations quotes by Donald Rumsfeld

Charitable Organizations quotes by Chip Heath
#29. As stories are told and retold, they evolve. They come to emphasize individuals, not organizations; to celebrate a flash of insight over stepwise improvements; and to exaggerate obstacles while downplaying institutional support. #Quote by Chip Heath
Charitable Organizations quotes by Saffron Burrows
#30. I grew up in a strongly socialist family. While I was at school, I worked in party politics and with organizations like the Anti-Nazi League. Everywhere I saw it, I fought prejudice. #Quote by Saffron Burrows
Charitable Organizations quotes by C. G. Jung
#31. A group experience takes place on a lower level of consciousness than the experience of an individual. This is due to the fact that, when many people gather together to share one common emotion, the total psyche emerging from the group is below the level of the individual psyche. If it is a very large group, the collective psyche will be more like the psyche of an animal, which is the reason why the ethical attitude of large organizations is always doubtful. The psychology of a large crowd inevitably sinks to the level of mob psychology. If, therefore, I have a so-called collective experience as a member of a group, it takes place on a lower level of consciousness than if I had the experience by myself alone. #Quote by C. G. Jung
Charitable Organizations quotes by Queen Latifah
#32. I support many organizations that I feel are doing the right thing, like Alonzo Mourning's foundation, Alicia Keys' foundation, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and other well-established foundations. I kick out a lot of time and money wherever I can. #Quote by Queen Latifah
Charitable Organizations quotes by Edmund Burke
#33. A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice. They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it. The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation. They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate. #Quote by Edmund Burke
Charitable Organizations quotes by Thomas Narofsky
#34. We need leaders who can meet and adapt to new challenges, build strategic partnerships, build and sustain human capital organizations, and have the courage to act and react to the challenges #Quote by Thomas Narofsky
Charitable Organizations quotes by Simon Sinek
#35. It's always the organizations that are resource constrained that come up with the good ideas to win. #Quote by Simon Sinek
Charitable Organizations quotes by Adam Smith
#36. Global poverty is one of the most pressing moral challenges we face today. Yet, it's more than just a moral problem that billions of people around the world are struggling to survive. It is also in our national security interests that we reduce global poverty. Populations that struggle in extreme poverty are more likely to become mired in destabilizing conflicts, or worse, become havens or recruiting grounds for terrorist organizations. This is an issue that we cannot afford to neglect. #Quote by Adam Smith
Charitable Organizations quotes by Gregory P. Shea
#37. Changing organizations comes down to changing human behavior. #Quote by Gregory P. Shea
Charitable Organizations quotes by Judith Faulkner

Charitable Organizations quotes by Sunday Adelaja
#40. Religion is the product of organizations called churches #Quote by Sunday Adelaja
Charitable Organizations quotes by Alexis Carrel
#41. Modern civilization seems to be incapable of producing people endowed with imagination, intelligence, and courage. In practically every country there is a decrease in the intellectual and moral caliber of those who carry the responsibility of public affairs. The financial, industrial, and commercial organizations have reached a gigantic size. They are influenced not only by the conditions of the country where they are established, but also by the state of the neighboring countries and of the entire world. In all nations, economic and social conditions undergo extremely rapid changes. Nearly everywhere the existing form of government is again under discussion. The great democracies find themselves face to face with formidable problems--problems concerning their very existence and demanding an immediate solution. And we realize that, despite the immense hopes which humanity has placed in modern civilization, such a civilization has failed in developing men of sufficient intelligence and audacity to guide it along the dangerous road on which it is stumbling. Human beings have not grown so rapidly as the institutions sprung from their brains. It is chiefly the intellectual and moral deficiencies of the political leaders, and their ignorance, which endanger modern nations. #Quote by Alexis Carrel
Charitable Organizations quotes by Urie Bronfenbrenner
#42. We as a nation need to be reeducated about the necessary and sufficient conditions for making human beings human. We need to be reeducated not as parents
but as workers, neighbors, and friends; and as members of the organizations, committees, boards
and, especially, the informal networks that control our social institutions and thereby determine the conditions of life for our families and their children. #Quote by Urie Bronfenbrenner
Charitable Organizations quotes by Saint Francis De Sales
#43. Without a doubt, one of the things which keeps us from attaining perfection is our tongue. When one has reached the point of no longer committing faults in speech, he has surely reached perfection, as was said by the Holy Spirit. The worst defect in talking is talking too much. Hence, in speech be brief and virtuous, brief and gentle, brief and simple, brief and charitable, brief and amiable. #Quote by Saint Francis De Sales
Charitable Organizations quotes by Karen Armstrong
#44. As an inspiration for terrorism, however, nationalism has been far more productive than religion. Terrorism experts agree that the denial of a people's right to national self-determination and the occupation of its homeland by foreign forces has historically been the most powerful recruiting agent of terrorist organizations, whether their ideology is religious (the Lebanese Shii) or secular (the PLO). #Quote by Karen Armstrong
Charitable Organizations quotes by E.F. Schumacher
#45. Nobody really likes large-scale organizations; nobody likes to take orders from a superior who takes orders from a superior who takes orders ... #Quote by E.F. Schumacher
Charitable Organizations quotes by Carol Dansereau
#46. A strong argument can be made that Democrats are actually the greater evil, not the lesser one. Black Agenda Report (which provides "news, information and analysis from the black left") uses the phrase "the more effective evil" to describe Barack Obama. While their analysis has focused on non-environmental issues, it holds true for Obama's environmental record as well. Obama appears to be much more effective at advancing anti-environmental policies and programs than Republicans would be. One of the main reasons for this is Demophilia. If Mitt Romney had expanded offshore and onshore oil drilling, promoted nuclear power and fracking, attacked EPA rules, and pushed through trade agreements written by private corporations there would have been huge protests. Yet Obama does all these things with impunity while environmental organizations barely object. Demophilia enables the Democratic Party to get away with it, virtually unchallenged. Regardless #Quote by Carol Dansereau
